Boils after FUE on the extraction area. Any suggestions?

I had FUE 11 weeks ago. For about the last 4 weeks I have had numerous boils and pimples all over the back of my head and mainly around the neck line. They occasionally burst and are filled with watery puss. I have taken two courses of antibiotics (ethromycin) and then Flucloxaxillin. Nothing has helped. A swab has now confirmed there is no bacterial infection. Please advise if this is a usual complication?

It can take six to twelve month after a hair transplant surgery to see results.  So after a five months, it may be too early to tell.

Bleeding five days after surgery is not considered "normal".  It would be best to contact your doctor for a follow up exam.

If you are concerned about hairs falling out with scabs or skin, it is best to contact your doctor.  It may be normal or there may be an issue.  It would be impossible to tell without an examination.

In general bleeding at the transplant site is not a good sign after having surgery. If you are concerned see your doctor for a check up.

It is best to see a doctor if you are ill with the flu.  You need to take care of yourself.  Without seeing a doctor it would be impossible to determine what you have.

If you have issues after surgery, even if it is scabs, you need to contact your doctor for a recheck and better cleaning.
