Is this a bad result from FUE - 7 months in? (photo)

I had an FUE transplant done in July 2018 mainly on my temples. I noticed at the time that there didn't seem to be good density on one of the temples. Now 7 months later I have little growth and what looks like poor density and a patchy result. I can see no more new hairs poking up through the skin.

It may take 8-12 months before seeing the final results of your hair transplant surgery. If you are concerned with the density and shape, follow up with your surgeon for an exam.

I agree the result is quite patchy. Normally at 7 months one would expect 50% of the final cosmetic outcome. My advice is to go back to your surgeon for an assessment to determine why you are experiencing poor growth.

It my opinion that at this stage you should see significant coverage and it is not apparent to me. I understand your concern considering the time and money you spent on this transplant. I would seriously recommend you consult your surgeon and discuss your concerns.

Although it takes up to a year to get full result, at 7 months you typically see a significant amount of growth.  With your concern, you should reach back out to your hair transplant doctor to go over before and after photos.

I would expect to see a bit more growth at the 7 month mark. It is best if you mention your concerns at your follow up with the doctor that performed the procedure and make sure that you have all of the information before becoming too concerned.

At 7 months you should see relatively full growth which is not what you are showing. I would go back and meet with your surgeon about these results
