I'm thinking about going ahead with getting FUE but I don't want to go through the whole ugly duckling/peach fuzz phase. How soon can I shave my head all over? I've read some people say that you can do it after two weeks and some say three months! In an ideal world, I would like to shave it down to a grade 0.5 all over for the first 9 months and then start letting it grow...

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen. Sweating should not be an issue but if your doctor instructed you otherwise, it may be wise to listen to your doctor since you trusted you doctor to perform your surgery.
It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results. If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor. Considering a second surgery right after your first surgery means you probably didn't plan things out properly.
