After 10 days of FUE hair transplant, i started developing small alopecia aerate (hair fall) near donor area. What should i do?. My dermatologist says after looking at my pics that I should just apply Provate S lotion at night only. Will this portion of alopecia aerate have hairs again or will it spread more?. Whats treatment in general or precautions are recommended.

Answer: Alopecia areata can affect any area including the hair line and hair transplant surgery is not usually indicated.
Everything seems normal. Hairs will fall out months after the transplant. You will start to see results coming in the next few months. It takes 12-18 mo. for the final results.
Hi!
Dried cellular debris often forms a golden yellow crust after a hair transplant, this tends to drop off in a few days and the underlying hair will usually grow out normally
All the best!
