I had rhinoplasty 6 weeks ago it feels crooked but I know one side is still really swollen is its just uneven swelling I feel so u confident and need advice I hade open rhino for hump removal so I'm guessing a lot of bridge work

Answer: Rhinoplasty and swelling You are six weeks postop from your rhinoplasty and still have swelling throughout the nose. As you continue to heal, the swelling will gradually decrease. Certain areas of the nose, such as the nasal tip, are known to be swollen for a longer period of time than the other areas. This can sometimes take up to a year for the swelling to completely subside, especially in patients with thicker nasal skin. Be patient through this process and make sure that you followup with your surgeon regularly while you are healing.

Answer: Crooked? A little tough to say for sure, but after 6 weeks, it would be hard to credit all of that to swelling. Only your surgeon knows for sure what was done, so that is the best person to ask. Marked improvement in profile, definitely.
