Can you have rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty at the same time? The one doctor I consulted with wouldn't do it.

The 2 surgeries you are considering can easily be accomplished at the same time.  It is safe to do and it will allow you to have a single recovery and will decrease your cost by avoiding a second anesthesia.  While there may be slightly more swelling due to 2 operations close to each other, if post operative instructions are followed, the swelling is minor and short lived.  See a board certified plastic surgeon for a consultation as to what would be best in your case.

In terms of the surgeries,  it is not uncommon to perform both simultaneously.Furthermore, in terms of overall stress on your body, it is more ideal to receive one general anesthetic for both procedures at one time, and deal with one post-operative recovery period instead of two.Good Luck.

Yes. If you are healthy enough to tolerate 2-2 1/2 hours of anesthesia then these procedures can be performed together. It is possible that your surgeon does not perform both eyelid and nasal procedures. In most cases, a facial specialist should be well versed in both rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery.

If the surgeon is comfortable and experienced with both procedures, there is no reason rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty can not be performed at the same time.
