390cc HP or 360cc moderate for full D? (Photo)

Question

I'm 54kg, 26yo, No kids. want as big as I can without unnatural upper pole fullness. I want under the muscle, silicon textured. I had my sizing today and given my chest width I need to choose between these two sizes with nagor (brand my surgeon prefers) 390cc hp or 360 moderate. I really don't want any unatural upper pole fullness when I'm naked but I want the volume, I want a nice double D. What do you recommend? I'm going dual plane I'm currently a upper b cup

I appreciate your question.It sounds like your surgeon is helping you choose a size based on measurements which is great.For my patients that want to be larger but don't want unnatural fullness, I prefer anatomic implants.As for your choice, I think either would be fine but also consider a moderate plus.The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery.best of luck!Dr Schwartz

Unfortunately, no surgeon can guarantee a cup size. However, if you don't want upper pole fullness, I would not recommend a high profile implant. I think a moderate or moderate plus would be a better option. You are obviously thin and fit, so I think you are in the correct range of volume, but it would still be nice to try them on with a sports bra to get a visual of the post-op appearance. Good luck!

important to remember that a board certified plastic surgeon will be your best
resource when it comes to an accurate assessment of your situation, and
concerns.

Having said that, thank for your height and weight and breast size estimates,
they do help. There is really no way to accurately predict what size you would
like without an examination. During your examination and consultation, you
should try on some sample sizes and see what you are comfortable with. Then the
PS can help explain with the size and current condition of your breasts the
effects of those sized implants will have on you.

If you have accomplished this step, then trust your plastic surgeons advice as
to what would be the best size for you. They have the experience. If you are
uncomfortable, go on another consultation.

Thank you for your question. It is much better to accurately discuss implant volume and projection with an in office exam and detailed measurements. In order to make an accurate size recommendation, I would need to assess your chest wall and breast mound measurements/characteristics. I use these measurements to help me during the sizing process to guide you to a safe result for your chest wall and just as important, one that meets your end desires.The next step is to try on this range of implants in the office with your doctor. The key to this success is showing your surgeon the body proportion you desire with a bra sizer and allowing your surgeon to guide you to the right implant. It will be much easier to communicate in implant cc's than cup size when determining the appropriate implant for you during the sizing process. In addition, review of photos and use of rice bags can be very helpful to the patient and surgeon in achieving a safe and happy result. There are many variables in recommending implant size/type. I base my implant recommendation on patients' body (chest height, chest width, existing breast tissue) as well as their desired look. I usually do not talk about cup size. As you know, cup size varies with brand and styles of bra. I would go for the desired look. Review before and after photos and see what kind of look that you want. Implants come in different types (silicone, saline), shape (round, anatomic), and profiles and volume. Your surgeon should be able to determine which implant will get closest to your desired size. He will use your breast width to choose the profile. It is often helpful to use 3D imaging with the Vectra to help with this decision.

In these cases I often used shaped implants to minimize the upper pole fullness, as that is their primary advantage. It is hard to get a 'large' augmentation with round implants and not have upper pole fullness.I hope this helps - good luck!

Based on your photos alone, it looks like you'll get an excellent result from breast augmentation.   There are several factors that plastic 
surgeons consider when recommending implant sizes. I consider two 
factors when selecting implants for my patients:1. Dimensional planning2. Gel Implant Sizing systemDimensional
 planning – The measurements of your chest wall are taken. Also, the 
breast dimensions including the height, width, and current dimensions of
 each breast form the basis of dimensional planning. Based on these 
measurements, the implant size is recommended. This will give you a 
unique breast implant that is suited for your body frame. However, there
 are some limitations of what size we can recommend. For instance, some 
implants may just be too big for a narrow chest wall. Your surgeon can 
review this with you during the consultation.Gel Implant Sizing 
system – During the preliminary breast implant consultation, you will be
 provided with an option to “try on” a variety of implant shapes and 
sizes. You can also visualize the possible outcomes of your surgery 
which helps you to get that perfect size to give you the shape that you 
longed for. This way your preferences are known and you can then pick a 
range of implants that will “fit” just right to give a soft natural

Based on the information you have provided, you will probably reach your goal with these implants. In term of the size difference between these two implants, the difference is only one ounce (or two tablespoons) so either is a good choice. I usually tell my patients that if they are considering two different sized implants that are very close in size, to pick the larger as many wish they had done so after surgery.
