What would be best: FDL or Tummy Tuck with Lipo? Breast uplift or uplift with implants? (Photo)

I’m considering getting a mommy makeover, I wanted a full tummy tuck and an uplift with implants but the surgeon has suggested FDL and an uplift only other option would be tummy tuck with lipo. What do you think?

Healthy people at their ideal weight should have the best overall recovery from a TT and lipo, but some of this will depend upon the surgical technique and adherence to postoperative protocols. 
Liposuction, combined with the standard TT, will allow you to have stubborn fat resistant to exercise and diet removed from unwanted areas.  A TT with muscle tightening because of diastasis recti will create a flat abdomen and would also provide the benefit of placing your incision along the lower pubic region. The TT also creates a more youthful belly button. If the waist was smaller at one time, the waist can likely be reduced to those same measurements or smaller provided the muscular and fascial integrity has remained the same. A breast lift could be performed during the same surgery. Email or Skype with a board certified PS to determine the best path ahead for you to achieve your end goals.

I would begin with the breasts first.  I recommend a lift using The Bellesoma Method.  This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage.  Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained.  At the same time or later, a tummy tuck can be done.  If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement.  The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight.  After these have been completed, you can consider liposuction with fat transfer to your buttocks or breasts if additional volume is desired.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

HI creative,I would suggest a TT with lipo of the abdomen and hips. I think that you could have a very nice result without the FDL.For now, the best procedure fro your breasts would be a reduction with a lift. You have a lot of tissue to be contoured and resected. I would suggest breast implants , if necessary, at a later date, so as not to compromise the blood flow to the nipples.Visit with several surgeons in your area to get an in person exam and discussion of your heath history, goals for the procedures and a frank discussion of the risks and complications of these procedures.Best Wishes,Dr. Christine Rodgers

Thank you for sharing your question.  Ultimately the best decision can only be made with an in-person examination but I would advocate for 360 lipo and a full tummy tuck in addition to a breast lift as it appears you have a good amount of natural breast tissue.  Hope this helps.

You seem to be a good candidate for multiple body/breast procedure providing that you are in a good health. Regarding breast contouring, my choice would be breast reduction/lift and implants. That would provide more stable result than breast lift (without or with implants). Considering body shaping, you would need liposuction of abdomen, flanks and lower back, followed with fat graft transfer for shaping of buttocks and hips. Tummy tuck should take care of abdominal deformity and skin laxity.This should be done in, at least, two separate procedures, 3 to 6 months (or more) apart. In person consultation with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon is recommended. Good luck.

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT and breast lift. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. 
My preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity.
I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Thank you for your question.You appear to be a good candidate for a Mommy makeover. I would recommend a Tummy tuck without a vertical scar but with Vaser Liposuction (LipoAbdominoplasty) along with a  Breast lift without implants. This should give you satisfactory results without undue scarring.

Hello and thank you for your question.   Based on your photographs, you are a great candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction. You do not need the vertical scar of a fleur de lis incision.  This can be done through a low incision, all completely below the bikini line.  The belly button can be designed to look natural and have no scars on the exterior.  Your muscles can also be plicated resulting in a flat abdomen.  A breast lift can be performed at the same time for improved shape and contour of your breasts. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.

I appreciate your concerns, and you do have options. It appears from your photographs that breast lift alone should be more than satisfactory as you have a abundant breast tissue, with lax skin and asymmetry. The breast lift will provide full, perky attractive shaped breasts, correct asymmetry and I agree that implants are not needed. However I do not think you need a fleur-de-lis tummy tuck with vertical scars. Traditional or extended tummy tuck with liposuction contouring of your anterior and posterior flanks may be a better option for your mommy makemeover. Also your results will be greatly enhanced if you can lower your BMI a bit. Be certain to select a board-certified plastic surgeon to greatly increase your chances for the best and safest possible result. Good luck.

Based on your photos I think you would have nice results from a full tummy tuck with liposuction for contouring.  It doesn't appear from the photos that an FDL is needed.  As you have ample breast tissue, you could consider a lift without implants.  If upper pole fullness or more volume is desired, you can consider adding an implant.
