I'm currently "4"11 and 147 lbs. I'm set for MMO in 2 weeks. I tried my best to lose weight prior to my surgery. It's been very hard. Can I still achieve nice results at this weight ?

Answer: Will I have good results from a MMO? It's difficult to provide an accurate answer with the photo provided. A tummy tuck will remove excess skin, repair abdominal wall separation and remove some fat located in front of the abdominal wall. It will not be able to address fat behind the muscle wall that surrounds your organs. That is reduced through diet and exercise. I encourage you to discuss your goals with your surgeon so that you understand what you can expect in terms of results.

Answer: Will I have good results from a MMO? How do you expect us to see you in your photo when you are in camouflage? All joking aside, a side profile clothed photo is not going to help in determining whether you are a good candidate for surgery. It depends on your anatomy, goals, expectations, etc. I hope that you have chosen a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. If you are telling yourself "they are board certified" I would encourage you to ask yourself what in, and if it is not ABPS certification, then find a new surgeon. Your surgeon should be with you through this and answering your questions and concerns.Good luck!Dallas R. Buchanan, MD, FACSOwner & Board-Certified Plastic SurgeonVIVIFY plastic surgery
