Hi. I'm 21 years old, never been pregnant. I really think my breast are very ugly - I think the areola is too big, there is a big gap between them, they go on each side and they are saggy? Also my nipple can never get big and I have hair around areola. I feel like I have everything bad. I dont know what to do, I dont wanna ever be naked. Is it all in my mind or am I right? Please, be brutal. What can I do? I would rather do something that doesnt involve surgery. Thank you for your time and help!
Answer: Are my breasts really saggy and my areolas too big? From your photo it appears that you are a candidate for an anchor lift/mastopexy with reduction on the larger side. This in my opinion will give you the best looking breasts.

Answer: Young saggy breasts Thank you for your question and photo.Your breast shape and position can be improved with a breast lift. Areolas can be made smaller and the space between the breasts made narrower. The Ultimate Breast Lift technique can give you the best results with minimal scarring and the ability to breast feed in the future. I hope this helps.Best wishes and kind regards,Gary Horndeski M.D.

Answer: Is asymmetry normal? Yes it is! Every time I see a female patient, I let her know that all of us human beings are asymmetric! Our faces, eyes, ears, breasts....etc....everything! When I evaluate breasts I do point out these differences because some women dont even realize that their breasts are different because they dont even look at them that much. I understand your concerns, but I do have to say I think you are being really hard on yourself. However, for the things you are concerned about I think surgery is probably your best option. The best way to figure out what your best option is, is to be seen by a board certified plastic surgeon to develop a surgical plan. 1) Concerned about areolar size- this can be reduced significantly with a breast lift. The only way to determine which lift is best would be to evaluate you in person and to take measurements2) Are my breasts "saggy"- From the photos, it appears your nipples may be a little low and a lift can correct this to a certain degree3) Hair around the areola- This should be able to be taken care of pretty easily and doesnt require surgeryI hope you are able to find a board certified plastic surgeon that is able to instill the confidence in you about their skill and plan. I wish you the best of luck! Keep your head up, be positive and dont be so hard on yourself!Ankur Mehta MD

Answer: Are my breasts really saggy and my areolas too big? First I will start by saying that your breasts are perfectly normal. This is how your breasts are from a genetic standpoint. You and your breasts are beautiful and what you don't like, someone else likes a lot. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Having said that, if you do NOT like the shape, size and overall appearance of your breast, there are things that can improve this, but it will involve surgery. What you will likely need is a breast lift. This can be done with or without an implant depending on many different factors and your goals. I recommend you go get a consult with a plastic Surgeon in your area to get some options for your self. Hope this helps.Dr VasishtSouth Shore Plastic Surgery
