Is it ok to drink a detox tea (Iaso Tea)?

I would discuss this with your surgeon.  Without knowing the actual ingredients, it is difficult to give you an educated answer on this.  Some  herbal/naturopathic medications/ingredients may have detrimental effects on bleeding/healing.  However, most likely, you will be able to consume this tea.  Best wishes!

If you are drinking tea strictly to lose water weight post surgery I would suggest that you just be patient. The swelling will go down overtime. If you are concerned the the swelling is not subsiding or getting worse I would suggest that you check in with you surgeon to detemine if you are healing appropirately. Again sometimes you don't always kno wthe exact ingredients in those teas and how they can affect your healing.

Since every surgeon has his or her own unique post op protocol, call your surgeon's office and ask. A lot of those detox teas have funky ingredients that might not be ideal while your body is recovery. The swelling will subside with time. My best,
