I've had a fair bit of swelling and tenderness after a non surgical nose job, is this normal?

I had a non surgical nose job yesterday and they used Revolax. I woke up this morning and my nose was quite tender and swollen. It's been like this all day now, is this normal? I've read that a lot of people don't get much swelling, have I just been unlucky?

HA Is hydrophilic. That means that it loves water and it is not uncommon to see more of a fill the day after your injection then the day of. If you are concerned by how you feel or by your appearance, please consult with your doctor. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

I appreciate your question. Yes it is very normal to have some swelling and feel a bit tender after a nonsurgical nose job. I would expect those side effects could linger up to two weeks, although they will improve throughout that time. However, if you are concerned, you can always schedule a follow-up with your doctor to ensure your recovery is progressing well. It is very common for the nose to have some swelling and tenderness. If it persists for more than 14 days I recommend contacting your cosmetic physician to address the area.

Hello. Thank you for your question. Swelling and tenderness is completely normal after a nonsurgical nose job. Icing the area gently can help decrease this. You may have swelling up to two weeks.
