Can Botox be used on the nose to minimize bossae (nasal bump tip)?

A neuromodulator like botox would be of little benefit. Silikon-1000 is a permanent soft tissue filler that can often times be used to camouflage the appearance of nasal bossae involving the tip. There are several examples in the attached video. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Thanks for the question. While Botox offers numerous benefits for the right patients, nose reshaping is not one of them. That said, in some cases, dermal fillers can be useful in adjusting the size, shape and proportion of the nose. I recommend you make an appointment with a board-certified physician that specializes in cosmetic treatments for an in-person assessment. At that time, you should be able to determine whether fillers could achieve the desired result or whether other options should be explored.

Botox will not likely affect the size of your nose.  Botox, especially when injected into what we call the bunny lines, will relax the muscles around your nose, like in your forehead or eye area, but will not change the shape or size. Without photos it is difficult to assess what would get you the look you desire.  An in person visit with a board certified plastic surgeon will help you sort out what is the best treatment option for you.
