Based on your photos, you appear to have excessive nostril show. That means that we can see into your nostrils on front view, and there may be retraction or lifting of the nostril margins on both sides, especially if you have a history of previous rhinoplasty surgery. Depending on your examination, microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections may be considered for decreasing your nostril show. This would not, however, lead to a narrower nasal tip appearance. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Hello, and thank you for your question! Your nose could be improved with fillers, but you need to see the right kind of practitioner. A doctor who does not perform surgical rhinoplasties cannot possibly understand the structural dynamics of an aesthetic nose. A plastic and reconstructive surgeon preferably with craniofacial experience has this advantage. I have developed a technique of using filler to balance the facial features, referred to as Aesthetic Facial Balancing. More recently liquid rhinoplasty’s have been in high demand and it has been a popular topic. I asses each patient individually and what changes in their features would improve their aesthetics most. We find that most patients looking for a surgical rhinoplasty end up being a great candidate for a non-surgical rhinoplasty. This technique that I have created allows patients to get similar results as a surgical rhinoplasty, but with very little recovery time (avoiding residual swelling that can last up to one year) and giving them instant results in less than 20 minutes. I use a hyaluronic based filler that is extremely safe for patients, and most patients are a good candidate for a liquid rhinoplasty. I hope this helps!Wishing you fantastic results,Dr. Rian Maercks M.D.
I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers like Voluma, Restylane, and Juvederm along with Botox can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose and lift the tip; however, surgery would be needed to improve the nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hello,Thank you for your question and more photos are needed for evaluation. However based on your photos it seems that you have thick skin, it needs to be treated then a Rhinoplasty can improve and fix it for better, natural and more balanced result, Closed and Atraumatic technique will provide you maximal healing minimal edema&swelling and no scar.Best Regards,
Thank you for your question. Sometimes a reshaping and possible reduction in width of the lower lateral cartilages which define the shape and definition of the tip is enough to accomplish both of your goals. However, sometimes this only improves the tip definition and a patient also needs an alar base reduction to get the nostril width decreased as much as desired. It would be of course much easier to give you a definitive answer after examining you in person. The feel of the cartilages and skin are very informative to a surgeon as to how you would do with surgery. I think fillers on the other hand would be able to only give you very limited improvement.
HA Is hydrophilic, which means that it loves water. In that regard, it is not uncommon for injections to look puffier a day after your procedure. If you are concerned by how you look or feel, please consult with your physician. Thank you. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Sometimes ha fillers can cause an indolent infection called a biofilm. Typically this is associated with red nodules, and the treatment of choice for this would be antibiotics. Since your doctor is experienced, you should certainly bring your concerns to his attention. Thank you for this...
That said, adding filler to your nose would not make your nose any smaller. Additionally, rhinoplasty surgery can lead to worsening nasal redness. If you have severe dissatisfaction with your nasal appearance, please consider re-asking your question with additional views of your nose and face. I...
