I am interested in getting liposuction for my back and belly with some body contouring but based on my photos would a tummy tuck with lipo be a better option? I want to have children in the future so i don't want to run into complications later in life from having a previous tummy tuck. What would be a good idea?
Answer: Can I just do liposuction or do I need tummy tuck ? Thank you for your question and photos. In my opinion, there are multiple options. Yes, you can do liposuction 360 degrees and improve your overall shape and contour, but you will end up with significant amount of loose skin in the upper and lower abdomen and pubic area. Only a non-surgeon believes that this can be tightened up by a magic "wand". I use Renuvion for skin tightening, but I would not have you waste money on it. If you are not planning to have another child in the near future, your best results would be from a lipoabdominoplasty and circumferential liposuction. So, you have to decide not to do anything until you deliver another child, live with loose skin or have an hourglass figure. See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.

Answer: Liposuction with or without I highly recommend choosing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for your procedure to achieve optimal results. It is recommended that you have children first but if that’s 5 years or more down the road,, go ahead and get the lipo. I recommend Vaser liposuction to help tighten the skin in the areas being liposuctioned. You could add a mini Abdominoplasty as well to remove the excess skin from the abdomen, it would not effect your ability to conceive but would possibly need revised after childbirth.
