Lipo can be performed on the circumferential thigh, front and back. Any technique would be fine: traditional, power assisted or Vaser. There may be some other factor impacting these surgeons' decisions and you may want to understand that. Best of luck!
Liposuction can be performed anywhere where there is fat acessable to the device used. The cansequences are different in different areas of the body. You have to be very experienced and very careful in both advising the patient and performing the procedure. I would suggest that you see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who knows what he is talking about and knows what he is doing. When one tells you they can or cannot do something the important next question is why?, what happens if you do or why can't it be done.Also every patient is different both in their expectations and their anatomy.So one may be a candidate for a certain procedure and one may not be.
