I had my buttimplant surgery 6 weeks ago and i did not get the result i hoped for so im not sure what to do now. I actully wanted to get a bbl but every surgeon i asked told me i did not have enough fat so my only option was implants. The top of the butt looks nice but i really dont like the lower part so is it possible to do lipo on the lower part of the butt or will this affect the implants?
Answer: Liposuction after Butt Implants Thank you for your question, it would be good to see pictures to understand what you want to achieve better. I believe most Doctors would hesitate to do liposuction on an area where there are implants because of the risk of affecting the implant.

Answer: Is it possible to liposuction the bottom part of butt after implants have been placed? It is impossible to answer this question without an examination or photos. Butt implants can only be placed on the upper half of the butt. They produce projection and upper butt pole fullness, but they will never fill out the lower part of the butt if there is excess tissue there. I do not think lipo will work. If there is enough fat and skin for lipo in that area, liposuction will make it sag more. Please post a follow up question so that we can better evaluate and give you a more direct assessment. Understand that some patients may benefit from a bbl even if they have little fat, especially when combined with butt implants. But again, we need to see at least some photos to better address your issue. Best of luck, Dr. Miguel Mota

Answer: Buttock implants six weeks ago…? Before and after photos would be extremely helpful to better evaluate and respond to your inquiry. That being said, six weeks is still very early in the postoperative recovery period. I would encourage you to at least wait until 6 months before making any final judgments. If you still have issues at that point, you have to look into several factors. One, were your implants placed in the intramuscular tissue plane? Two, do you have the optimum size and anatomic shape implants. In 2015 I created and later patented a new "Stanton Anatomic" shaped implant that avoids the unnatural effects of round implants, whether silicone gel or rubber . The benefit of this is the fact that ~99% of patients have much more of an oval shaped buttock muscle not round, thus a true oval implant (i.e. Stanton Anatomic implant) creates a much more natural and harmonious buttock contour. This is especially true when the patients bends over, does squats, or pokes their butt out while striking a pose, etc. Many models, avid weightlifters, fitness competitors, and athletes from various sports have had these implants without problem of movement, visibility, or drooping. Glad to be of help.

Answer: Butt liposuction Dear Eva14, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Gluteal implants and making an assessment To make an assessment we need to see pictures. Procedures should be based on what the underlying problem is. If your gluteal implants are not making your bottom look then you don’t have a problem with the fat distribution.Excess fat is probably not what’s causing the problem so Liposuction is unlikely to be the solution for you.Follow up with the surgeon who did your procedure and ask them to consider a revision.
