A year ago I have gotten a chin implant and got it removed a couple of months after. Ever since the left side of my bottom lip and chin has been kinda numb(not too numb like the start) and I sadly think it's permanently damage. Will it still be possible to get lip filler or will that make the numbing worse? Will there be a risk of hitting a vessel? What kind of risks will there be?

Answer: Lip, fillers Having neurapraxia from a previous chin, implant, should not prevent you from having lip fillers if you would like. Fillers have a multitude of risks involved. The most common are bruising and temporary disfigurement. The lips are one of the most vascular parts of the body and because of this summer blood vessels will be injured and many patients experience at least some bruising. This is an a significant difference in overall experience and aesthetic outcomes, depending on who you choose as your provider. Try to find the most talented and experienced provider in your community. Preferably a skilled plastic surgeon who does their own injections. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
