You would get a nice improvement with lip fillers. Volbella, Restylane, and Juvederm are good to create a symmetrical lip. NovaThreads can be used to improve lift and shape. Implants or fat are alternatives. Technique will be important here, so you'll want to see someone meticulous. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hi @Pioneering145250! I recommend massaging the area a few times a day. If you notice in 3-4 weeks that the lump has not improved, you can return to your practitioner to dissolve the area with Hyaluronidase.
I will answer assuming that HA filler was injected into the lip and the bump is from the filler. Filler injected in approximately the past 72 should smooth out with direct pressure. If this is not possible then evaluation at 2 weeks would be prudent. At that point the filler can be dissolved if necessary, using Hylenex. G. Kaplan MD
Most fillers last about six months. In reality this means that half the product is usually gone by about three months. Some fillers last longer than others. If you have issues with the outcome of your procedure then I suggest you discuss this with your provider.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
