Is it normal for my pubic area to be swollen and hard after tummy tuck and lipo ?

Gravity is going to settle fluid to its most dependent area meaning your sides and pubic area. Some swelling is normal and I often suggest my patients wear a panty girdle with a reinforced panel in front to keep a little pressure on the area. If the drainage is more than a little, I'd check with your surgeon. Good luck

The pubic region tends to stay swollen longer because of dependent swelling. If concerned,, best to review with your surgeon.

Yes,  it's perfectly normal to have swelling and hardness on the pubic area especially during the first 4 weeks. This is normal and it will go down over time.Heat and massage may speed up the process.Compression will also help.

Thank you for your question. After a Tummy tuck and lipo it is normal for the pubic area to be swollen and it will usually take some time for it to go down. I would suggest to contact your surgeon so he can evaluate any fluid collection in this area.

It is very common to have swelling and hardness in  the pubic area after a TT. This will resolve but can take some time. You need to follow up with your PS. Good luck!
