The first time I did facial fillers / PRP, I was very happy with the results. 1.5 years later, I did it again, but this time the results faded very quickly. It has been five months and I'm not ready yet to fork over another $1200 for another procedure. First time with Restayline, second with Radiasse (not sure why the change, same doctor). Sagging again under eyes and hollowing cheeks. Any recommendations? What can I do to maintain? I think I look older than my age.
Answer: Skin tightening Hi @Jakob99! I recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the skin deeper than other microneedling devices, triggering the skin’s natural healing response to promote skin tightening and lifting.

Answer: Non-Surgical Eyelid Lift -- Periocular Rejuvenation for Puffy Eyes, Sagging Skin Under Eyes, Eye Bags / Renuvion Radiofrequency For puffiness and sagging under the eyes, we often use Renuvion helium plasma radiofrequency energy to achieve incredible results and take years off of your appearance. Combining RF energy and cool helium plasma, the signs of aging (wrinkles, pigmentation, skin laxity) are improved in a ‘Nonsurgical Eyelid Lift.' The focused heating tightens and peels the upper layers of skin with extreme precision, leaving the surrounding area undamaged, smoothing and tightening the periorbital skin, and improving the overall skin quality around the eyes. It's an aggressive treatment, and the recovery time is longer than with other nonsurgical procedures, but the results can be life-changing. See an expert to determine if this is the best solution for you. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Tear trough treatments: What you need to know Hello, and thank you for your question. Filler results typically last for 6-12 months. In addition to which type of filler is used (some fillers last longer than others), several other factors can influence dermal filler longevity, including where the filler is used on your face, how much is injected, and the speed at which your body metabolizes the filler material. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon, particularly one with extensive experience with injectables. Such experts will know the right dosage and technique that will achieve your desired results. Keep in mind that Radiesse is not the same as Restylane. While Restylane is a hyaluronic filler that adds support to the dermal structure and offers immediate results, Radiesse works in a different fashion. This injectable stimulates the body to produce more collagen, which adds volume in the weeks and months following treatment. Because the results are gradual, they may not look as obvious to you, but once they develop, they typically last longer than HA fillers. No matter what type of injectable you choose, it is essential that you work with an injector who has the qualifications and experience to produce the best possible results for you. While they are not surgical procedures, injectables do require a great deal of precision, expertise, and artistry to perform well.

Answer: Midface rejuvenation Thank you for your question. This is usually the first place patients notice aging. I'd guess Radiesse was used the second time because it usually volumizes more than other fillers. For smaller changes, additional filler may help. However, if you're looking for a more permanent solution, a SOOF lift may be beneficial, or perhaps midface implants. I hope that helps, and all the best. -Dr. P
