Will popping pimples on breast implants cause damage?

Thank you for your question.  Though you should remain careful with the care and condition of your breasts after implant placement, it is unlikely that you caused any damage.  

While your concern for keeping bacteria load in your blood stream low after having breast implants placed, popping pimples will likely introduce negligible amount of bacteria to your blood stream - very different from having a dental procedure! Thay being said, 4 months out from having breast augmentation, your body has formed a capsule (hopefully nice an soft) around your implant protecting it from bacterial contamination and external forces. I doubt that you have the strength to rupture your implants with just the force from popping pimples. These implants are made to withstand a lot of force and aren't easy to rupture or deform.

While normal everyday forces (such as popping pimples) on the skin 4 months after surgery will not cause any harm, I think that you may need to consider carefully the risks of infection from doing this. Your implants are just under the gland, which can be very close to the skin in the upper part of the breast. If on of your popped pimples were to develop into an abscess it could infect your implant and this would be catastrophic.I would also suggest you see your normal doctor to look at why you are developing these pimples on your breasts, unless you have always had a problem there.
