The implants were placed 33 yrs ago and the left one remained soft and normal. Both implants were ruptured and the right one was calcified with severe contracture. Both breasts look deformed, but I expected to have more problems with the right breast; It's as if the nipple is caught inside, is that possible? I was just hoping for my old small breasts again. My BCPS has suggested implants or fat transfer. I'm massaging as directed and hoping for something good to happen. I appreciate your opinions.
Answer: Explant Deformity Sorry to hear about your problem. External expansion with a Brava Bra followed by fat transfer will help this deformity. It probably will require a couple of rounds to get a nice result.

Answer: Breast Implant Removal Recovery Good day! Generally, 2 weeks is too soon to see final results as bruising and swelling may persist. Your must give your skin and muscles ample time to adjust and recover. Nipple inversion may occur after trauma and can be corrected with a procedure performed in the office under local anesthesia which is commonly performed with breast revision surgery. In severe cases of nipple inversion the breast ducts may need to be severed or devices such as the Niplette by Advent can be used without surgery with some success. It is often used after surgery to create suction and maintain the correction. Do not hesitate to ask your doctor or find a board-certified surgeon that has extensive experience with this procedure. Best of luck! #RealSelf100

Answer: Breast implant removal Explanation of breast implant can be a very complex surgery.unfortunatley patients and some doctors make it a simple procedure that I'd done with local anesthesia in few minutes. Occasionally this will do well but in many cases breast deformity occurs.need to review all medical records and do in person examination then one can tell you what needs to be done to achieve a good result

Answer: Breast implants (200cc) were removed two weeks ago. What's my best option? (Photo I would recommend using the BRAVA for a few weeks ,it may be sufficient to pull out the nipples and then consider fat injections

Answer: Explantation deformity I would advise that you look at the operative report and the pathology report to make sure that the entire capsule was removed in order to avoid complications later on. If not, then have a total capsulectomy and an internal mastopexy in order to correct this problem. Insurance will often cover the capsulectomy if complications of cosmetic surgery are not excluded. If the entire capsule was removed then options include, surgery to correct the deformity which may require fat grafting or small implants. BRAVA would not be a great idea due to the potential of seroma formation in my opinion.
