I suggest combining this superficial treatment with a series of microdermabrasion or laser skin resurfacing sessions to help your skin heal naturally as well. One quick way to determine if fillers would be helpful in your situation is to stretch the skin around the scar. If the scar lessens in appearance, then you are a good candidate for fillers to correct the issue. This would also make you a good candidate for laser treatments. As with all of these treatments, the skill of the doctor is of utmost importance. Don't trust your face to just anyone.

Scars can be treated but usually require more than one method and attempt.  Make sure you pick a qualified and experienced provider!  That is the most important factor.
