At 81 I began to rejuvenate my face. Starting with laser resurfacing needed to revise MOHS scar. Dysport to deep lines next. And this week a scraping of 10 seb ks. With age my eyes have begun to sink and circles darken. Brows have dropped as well. Not a look I like. Suggestions for eye rejuvenation?
Answer: Hallow under eyes A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Hollow Temples and Eye Circles - Restylane, Volume, Sculptra, Botox, Dysport Hi, thanks for providing photos. Temples do hollow as we age and I have two fillers of choice I use in that area - Voluma for instant benefit and Sculptra for slower onset but longer term benefit. I do like to use Restylane in the tear trough area as I find there is less swelling with this product here. Botox/Dysport will help aging around the eyes including giving a small brow lift by relaxing depressing muscles and crows lines. I suggest to consult in person with a cosmetic dermatologist if you would like to review nonsurgical options such as above further.

Answer: Filler for under eye hollows and forehead filler for brow lifting Hello and thanks for posting. First of all, you look amazing for 81 years of age! Facial fillers are the preferred means of correcting under eye hollows. There are many choices, but finding an expert injector is more important than the product. The under eye region should only be addressed by an advanced injector because the skin is very thin and this zone is unforgiving. Any contour irregularity from a poorly performed procedure would be the first thing that you and anyone else would notice. With regard to the brow dropping, there are several means to improve this, but the use of deep structural forehead filler is a great strategy for several reasons. First, we lose forehead volume when we age. Simply placing deep smooth filler under the frontalis muscle produces convexity of the forehead, which is a youthful forehead. Second, forehead filler counteracts the “pseudo-masculinization” that occurs in many women because of the ledge that develops above the brow from volume loss and creates a mild Neanderthal look. Finally, the skin and tissue of the upper forehead is fairly tight and placement of filler into this region will produce traction and elevate the brow complex. Other brow lifting strategies include Botox to the glabellar complex, Ultherapy to forehead, and barbed PDO threads inserted into the forehead. I hope that this information helps and best of luck to you!

Answer: What are preferred fillers for hollow temples as well as deep circles under eyes? The choice of what filler to use is fairly dependant on the area of concern, quality of the overlying skin, and longevity of the filler. Fillers are synthetic products that temporarily retore volume in our bodies natural fat pads (which lose that volume as we age or lose weight) and our body will naturally dissolve them over time. For temples, I tend to choose fillers that are thicker and longer lasting such as Voluma or Radiesse. It takes a decent amount of filler to restore volume in most temples as they are large fat pads. For the tear trough area under the eyes, I use a thinner filler that doesn't swell as much because the skin is quite thin and isn't very forgiving--typically a restylane product. For brow droop I typically perform a "chemical brow lift" using a very small dose of Botox or similar neuromodulator to lift the brows for 3-4 months (longevity of such products). Make sure to consult with board-certified plastic surgeons for best recommendations. Good luck!
