Are Nasolabial lines genetic? I've had them forever!

privatepatient25
I'm 26 and I have had nasolabial lines since a very long time, since I was about 16/17. Does this mean that it's genetic and that later on it can get worse? I wear sunscreen daily and also moisturize daily. Hope it doesn't get worse. Can facial exercises help reduce them, many people claim it does reduce them with exercises. I do not want fillers or anything yet. Maybe after my 35th age.
