Am I good candidate for a breast augmentation? (photos)

Hello, I am 32 year old mom. My breasts after 2 children are saggy and empty. Before both children I had C size breasts, now they are C/B size. I wanted to know am I good candidate for breast augmentation, because I am unsure about my breast shape.

From viewing your photos I think you would be a great candidate for a breast augmentation. I may suggest a mastopexy(breast lift) to help with the sagging.

I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Mildly Sagging Breasts: If your breasts are mildly droopy, a saline or silicone gel implant placed behind the pectoral muscle might help create the illusion of perkiness. That’s because as the implant fills out the top of the breast, it also fills out the bottom, making it look as if the nipple has moved higher. It hasn’t. If you’d like to increase the size of your breasts, breast augmentation may be suitable for you. Because your nipples are located below your breast fold, a breast lift would be recommended as well. This would reshape your breasts to make them fuller and perkier. A lift can be performed at the same time as the augmentation.

determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.

Thank you for your photos. Your breasts have ptosis, ie they hang below the fold under your breasts, and the additional weight of the implant will increase that ptosis. In order for you to achieve the best possible appearance of your breasts, proper dimensional measurements of your breasts should be done so an implant that fits your breast dimensions can be chosen and your augmentation should be combined with a breast lift to position your nipple areolar complex to the correct position, in relation to your implant.  This should be discussed in detail with your plastic surgeon. Best wishes.

Thank you for your question. You are a good candidate for a breast augmentation, however, to get a fantastic result, performing a small breast lift, either  via a peri areolar or more likely a vertical incision would improve your result and make it longer lasting. Your nipple to IMF distance appears slightly elongated in your at higher risk for bottoming out. Good luck.

Based on your pictures, it looks like you would be an excellent candidate for a breast augmentation with a breast lift (if you don’t get a lift, the implants could make your breasts saggier as they will lack support.

Of course, an « in person » consultation is necessary.
