You need to find experienced injectors.  Any time you are poked with a needle you can bruise.  I think it is bizarre that they gave you money back for causing a bruise.  The bruise will take about 2 weeks to resolve.  At that point, you may need to have your service adjusted.  Some times you get what you pay for.

I'm sorry you had a large bruise. You will likely make a full recovery. Bruising in this area is extremely common and it's due to the large number of tiny vessels found in the area. To avoid bruising next time, have the injection performed with a microcannula and be sure they needle is placed lower than the orbicular muscle. Generally speaking, if they educated you and reviewed the risks of this injection, then you signed an informed consent, they had no obligation to give you money back. First of all you should be seeing a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon not being treated at a med spa. That being said, this will resolve completely and if you have it done again it is important to have the right experienced person injecting and a cannula is not the answer. that is not magic. the correct answer is the right doctor

in general, I do not advocate injecting a filler in the eyelid as it is frought with complications; it can cause hematoma, skin necrosis, and a long term complication called Tindel's effect. At this time, you have to perform conservative measures only.
