Should rhinoplasty patients with implants like Gore-Tex avoid getting the covid vaccine?

With the "novel coronavirus", there are no definite answers about anything. That said, I'm sure there were millions of people who received covid vaccines with a myriad of other more common implants - breast, hip replacement, etc. I am not aware of any permanent foreign body implant being a contraindication for covid vaccination. I am not aware of any contraindications for having the vaccine if you have a nasal implant. In fact, many patients with larger implants such as knee implants, breast implants, etc. have the vaccine without any issues so I suspect it should be alright but there are no guarantees.

I have not heard of any problems with giving covid vaccines to anyone with a foreign prosthesis in their body. Think of all the people with heart valve replacement and joint replacements. They get the vaccine without problems.
