If you don't have good donor hair, then your transplant results will reflect the quality of your donor hair.
Based on your description it is very difficult to determine the status of your donor area.I would suggest an in person consultation with an experienced Hair Restoration surgeon.
It depends on how long you have your hair normally, but yes in general your hair needs to have a certain density to make an FUE transplant feasible. However it's pretty unusual for someone who has had no transplants to have a donor area that couldn't support any grafts, so I'd suggest meeting with a specialist who can tell you what the state of your donor area is currently in.
Those people who do not have an adequate number and quality of hair on the donor site should not undergo a hair transplantation operation. Particularly those individuals who are experiencing the beginning stages of hair loss and whose hair does not show an apparent thinning should not have hair transplantation. In such cases, medical treatment should be tried first. For your case it is not easy to say something as I can not see your donor site hair quality or recipient area.I suppose a close look to the donor site will help me to decide if hair surgery will work for you.
If you never have had a hair transplant, then you are probably ok with the quantity of hair that you have. This can be measured bu a good doctor in the field and tell you just what total supply of donor hair you have
Hi, Lady Steph--Unfortunately, this is not a question that can be answered quickly online. It really depends on the cause and extent of your hair loss. Whether or not a hair transplant would work for you, or whether some other type of treatment would also be recommended, is something that can only be determined by meeting with an experienced hair loss expert. Thanks for your question--I hope this was helpful.Dr. Ballon
At 16 days one can not make a judgment of the spacing of the grafts as many of the grafts may have shed by this time
This is a question maybe every surgeon or expert will answer different but we recommend our patients to start will low exercises after 15 days and with strong activities after 1 month. Please consult with your expert as he may has other advises to you.
Thanks for posting your photos. My recommendation to you will be to contact your surgeons and to consult your situation. After a hair transplantation these kind of reactions can be seen and it is common but important is to treat them right and on time.
