Hi, I am 16 days post FUE. I had 2500 grafts into my frontal and temporal zone (including temple points). My hair calibre was around 60 microns with 2.2 hairs per graft. I am worried that the right side of my hairline looks much more sparse than the left and that I may be left with a patchy result on this side. I have noticed little loss of the transplanted hair or shock loss so far (although I appreciate that is to come). Do you think the recipient lacks density? I am grateful for your input. Thanks
Answer: FUE hair transplants Thank you for your pictures. At this time, things look right where they should be. It's hard to know whether there will be any sparse areas on one side vs the other - the packing looks nice and the hair was implanted and designed in a very natural way. I would find it hard to believe that someone who spent the time creating a nice hairline would not make sure that things were evenly packed along both temporal recessions. At this time, adequate recipient care for the next few weeks is all that is needed until the transplanted hair starts to grow. Best of luck, and congratulations on your procedure.

Answer: Density Hello. At 16 days post transplant it is difficult to tell as there will inevetiably be some shedding of hair shafts at this stage. My advise is to trust your surgeon and wait till the 12 months mark. I always consent my patients for high density transplants that they may need to come in for a 'touch up' of 500 grafts to achieve full perfection. Leave your fate in the hands of time.

Answer: Grafts too sparse on one side no, density is good ..Also no need to worry for the right side of your hairline looks much more sparse than the left and that you may be left with a patchy result on this side because shock loss is going on and very early time to get the final result.
