Donor area is very itchy. Is it normal?

I have undergone FUE with 2900 grafts just one month back. Everything went alright and hairs shed all within 3-4 weeks. So far all looking good. But my donor area just started very itchy now from last week. And I do like to scratch when it feels very itchy and sometime very strong that can't resist. Is it normal to have donor very itchy after FUE in 4th week? and should I respond or not?

Photos cannot assess if you would be a "good" candidate for surgery.  Usually this involves seeing a doctor in person so you can discuss your goals and understand what can be expected after an examination.

Onion just has nothing to do with hair transplants.  You can drink it do what you may want to.  You may want to ask your doctor if you are concerned.

It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.   It would be very rare if you have hair growth in 2 weeks.

 DHI method can be preferred for more of a dense look by implanting 70 grafts/cm2  with max 2500 grafts for an ideal hairline fix. Both procedures will not leave a scar. PRP treatment is always good for hair growth after HT.

It is just a recommendation after a hair transplantation but it is not a must. It helps protecting overall your hair.

During  the surgery your grafts will be transplanted together with your "old" hairs and those hair will fall out.Sometimes they stay longer and fall off after a while. Maybe you mean this but to be sure please consult with your surgeon and let him/her explain the situation.
