Due to health reasons, using finasteride is unwise for me. My hairline appears to be reasonably stable. My father and maternal grandfather were both NW2 in their 40s, and ended up as nw3 late in life. I am 24, would be 25 by the time I consider a transplant. How viable of an option would this be?

Answer: Photos cannot assess if you would be a "good" candidate for surgery. Usually this involves seeing a doctor in person.
It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results. If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor. It would be very rare if you have hair growth in 2 weeks.
