Will liposuction posterior hip help sculpt top of butt?

Dear Classyang,     Your back and side view pictures would have been very helpful. As a rule, liposuction of the hips and the lower back can define you upper butt and give you a nice 'S' curve. If your butt is flat and laterally you have depression, your best option for improvement is butt implants. Fat injection is a waste of time and money because it disappears completely  or almost completely after 6-12 months or even faster. I have seen it on many patients who came to my surgery center for butt implants after the big disappointment from the fat injection that was done by other surgeons. Not all results are the same because experience and skills are of paramount importance. Consult only with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Hello and thanks. Liposuction will help the butt area but improved enhancement is obtained with fat transfer to improve your waist to hip ratio. 

It is quite possible that liposcution of the hips can improve the appearance of the buttock region.  Best of luck.

Depending on your individual fat distribution, it is sometimes possible to enhance the appearance of the buttocks from liposuction in the lower back, hips and waist. Adding fat transfer, such as a Brazilian butt lift, will usually give a much more impressive outcome. The idea of creating balance is fundamental to liposuction. One area looks so in context to the areas next to it. This is the same concept as someone who has a large nose and a weak chin.
