Great question! Depending on what your breasts look like and how close of a cleavage you desire it could be possible. Placing implants will provide you with a closer and improved cleavage contour. If you need a lift as well, it can help. It really all depends on the exact procedure that needs to be done to achieve the goals you desires. Therefore it is important to have a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon so that appropriate procedure can be explained to you in detail.Best of luck and hope this information helps!- Dr. Roger Tsai @DrRogerTsaiBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon
You need a formal evaluation by a licensed plastic surgeon and expert in breast lifts, revisions and augmentations to determine what is best for you and your goals.Breast lift surgery can improve a woman's breast shape by repositioning the breast mound at a higher position on the chest and then centering the nipple and areola on the breast itself. If there is enough breast tissue, I can perform a highly aesthetic mastopexy without the addition of further volume by internally rearranging the breast tissue and removing excess skin. If more volume is needed, especially in the upper portion of the breasts, we will discuss the possibility of fat grafting or silicone gel implant placement. The type of incision required for this surgery (circumareolar, “lollipop” or “anchor”) and the lifespan of the lift depends on each patient’s condition, breast tissue, genetics, weight and hormonal fluctuations, and desired results. Augmentation with mastopexy is a challenging surgery that requires significant experience to create a shape that is youthful, natural, and proportionate to the body, while managing the native tissue as well as fat grafts or implants. When performed properly, it can result in a dramatic improvement to a woman’s breast appearance.I suggest consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon and expert in Breast Lifts. - Dr. Cohen
Cleavage cannot be built. With or without breast implants, clothes create the cleavage. Having a starting C cup volume will make it easier in clothes to create the look you desire.Dr Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and AuthorRealSelf Distinguished Hall of Fame Inductee
Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs but a breast lift can increase cleavage. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed are maintained. If you have a very wide chest and a very small C cup it may be difficult to move the breasts medial enough and achieve cleavage. However, that is a very rate situation.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Dear elise13,many women seek improved cleavage. Narrowing the cleavage plane can be done very carefully by a skilled surgeon. Moving the implants too far medially can result in synmastia or unaboob which is very difficult to correct. That being said, the right amount of pocket dissection and implant selection can create excellent cleavage. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. It is a bit difficult to determine without photos. I would recommend seeking board certified plastic surgeons with experience. You can achieve a cleavage however all depends of implant size and evaluation. Best of luck!
It is difficult to say for you without photos and an exam. A lot of cleavage has to do with the patient anatomy to begin with. The surgeon can help achieve more cleavage by his dissection as well as implant selection.I would recommend you see a board certified plastic surgeon to determine if this is possible for you.Hope that helps.
Without examining you or seeing photos it's difficult to give specific advice. The only way to know for sure is to book a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to be examined in person and see what your options are. Best of luck!
You did not post photos. If your breasts are wide apart, they will always be wide apart. We cannot move the bases of the breasts. However, fat transfers and wider implants can help fill in gaps.
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Unfortunately, without pictures, it is very difficult to give you a proper answer. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
