I wanted to ask PS's thoughts on using the inflatable beds and chairs post op fat transfer to the butt & hips. Thumbs up or thumbs down, and if you would provide your reasoning to better educate us all that are curious. Thank you in advance

Answer: Postoperative protocol Dear 702nikki, I understand your concern. It is best that you consult your plastic surgeon regarding post operative care and management (i.e including massage techniques and timing) specific to your case. Your surgeon knows your condition well and has preferences on when and what to use for faster healing and recovery. Post operative care and management depends on the type of surgery performed and the technique used during surgery among other factors. It is best, however, that you follow your plastic surgeon's advice on post operative care management for a smooth and faster healing and recovery. Answer: Post operative beds Dear Nikki, You should consult with your BBL surgeon to follow their postoperative instructions. That being said, I do not know of any studies showing one type of be being better than another. Keeping as little prolonged weight on the new BBL buttocks is key for up to a month. If the bed helps you sleep on your belly, that would certainly relieve buttock pressure. Dr. T
