I suggest you plan on having your next buprenorphine injection in an area that will not be involved with the Liposuction or fat transfer.
After that you should be fine to move forward with your procedure. You should also discuss your plans with both your buprenorphine physician and plastic surgeon.
For a tummy tuck relying on non-opiate pain medication’s may be difficult for the first few days of recovery. Typically patients who are on Suboxone are weaned down to 2 mg at which point strong narcotic pain medication can override the Suboxone and give improved pain release though it usually doesn’t give much euphoric affect so the chance of relapse is still very low.
There are a pain management experts who can guide you through this process and the Doctor Who is prescribing Dynorphin should also be familiar with how to manage your pain for major surgery of which tummy tuck is going to be the big one.
Ibuprofen is in sufficient to recover and be comfortable for a full tummy tuck.
Have your doctors work together and put together a plan of action.
