Hello, hope you are well. There are many causes for lip asymmetry--prior surgery can be one of them. Some people are asymmetric from birth or animate one side of the face more than the other (as you said); or, if you have had filler or lip augmentation it may have been applied or dispersed unevenly. Revision lip lift can help insofar as correcting asymmetry of the length of the upper lip, but measurements need to be taken. If it is a volume issue, fat grafting or filler could be considered; if it is because of existing filler, it should be dissolved. Your best course of action at this point is to have an in-person consultation with a surgeon who can correctly diagnose the issue and propose sensible corrective measures.
