I am planning on getting a septoplasty for my deviated septum and bone spur. How many months after this should I wait to have a lip lift? Are there any surgeons in London who are experienced enough to perform both at the same time?
Answer: It can be combined no need to wait in between. you can have two surgeries at the same time or you can have it seperately. no need to wait in between operations. we think liplift and nose surgery is a good combination. its a combination we carry out frequently good luck with you journey and healing

Answer: Septoplasty and lip lift You can do both surgeries at the same time. However, make sure the surgeon is experienced and does a good job with lip lifts … if not, don’t settle just to do them at the same time. Lip lifts can easily be done without general anesthesia. If done at different times, I would wait at least 4-6 weeks to allow swelling to subside. The swelling can throw off the measurements. Make sure this is truly a septoplasty, meaning only the septum is being addressed (even if there is a bone spur inside the nose)…. Any work on the external structures of the nose (rhinoplasty) would result in more swelling and should wait a little longer … at least 8-12 weeks. Hope that helps.

Answer: Lip lift and septoplasty The two procedures can be done simultaneously. If you prefer two separate procedures, then they can be done a week apart. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Lip Lift and Septoplasty Hello, hope you are well. These procedures can absolutely be performed at the same time. If they are performed separately, there is no waiting period that you must adhere to before proceeding with the second procedure (especially considering that a lip lift can be done under local anesthesia). Best,Dr. Tower

Answer: Lip lift & Septoplasty As a physician, I would recommend a waiting period of at least three to six months between a septoplasty and a lip lift. This allows ample time for your nose to heal and any swelling to subside before undergoing another procedure. Performing both surgeries at the same time can be considered, but it largely depends on the complexity of your septoplasty and the expertise of the surgeon. It's crucial to find a surgeon who is experienced in performing both procedures simultaneously to reduce the risk of complications. In London, there are several highly skilled surgeons capable of performing both procedures. However, it's important to research and find a surgeon who has a successful track record with these specific surgeries. Always ensure the surgeon is board-certified and has positive reviews from previous patients.
