My eyes are asymmetrical and I was wondering what could be the possible cause of this and which exact eye has the problem. Also, my left eyebrow is higher than my right side. I don't believe I was born with this because as a kid my eyes looked much more even so I think this has gotten worse as I've gotten older. I have read that this could be ptosis but I really have no idea. I plan on seeing my eye doctor in the future and asking about this but I just wanted to get an idea of what it could be. Also, if this is something that requires surgery to fix, how much would it typically cost? Thank you in advance.

Thank you for posting your photo with your interesting question. I would recommend lower eyelid hyaluronic acid filler with Restylane that will address your lower eyelid tear troughs. Your lower eyelids are genetic and make you look tired. This is not a beginner technique however. I recommend...
Yes you do appear to have mild lower eyelid retraction. Repair often involves adding length to the back side of the eyelid with a spacer graft and/or a cheek lift in combination with reforming the corner of the eye. Best to see an eyelid specialist in your area.
Best of luck!
