Hi, I am a 19 year old male and have recently noticed that one of my eyebrows sits slightly lower than the other when my face is relaxed! While it isn't noticably in a mirror in photos it has really started to annoy me and was wondering what the best solution would be for this, please?
Answer: Treatment options for eyebrow assymetry The asymmetry shown in your photos are relatively minor. But I can see how that can be annoying to you seeing it daily in the mirror. It is always good to gauge the benefits vs the risks in every condition for which you seek treatment. In this case given the subtle nature of the situation, doing nothing is a viable option. But you can consider a temporary using neuromuscular blockers for example Botox, Dysport or Xeomin to slightly raise the lower brow or bring down the higher one a tad. More permanent procedures would call for surgical solution sat the hand of a qualified occuloplastic surgeon or plastic surgeon, with the understanding that you may not achieve a satisfactory result or worse still suffer complications that may leave you worse off. Good luck

Answer: Eyebrow higher possibly due underlying droopy eyelid (ptosis) It is likely that the brow asymmetry is due underlying eyelid asymmetry. An eyebrow is often raised in order to compensate for hidden underlying eyelid ptosis. See an oculoplastic specialist for evaluation.

Answer: Eyebrow Asymmetry The easiest and best solution to this eyebrow assymetry is a small droplet of botox into the outer portion of the lower brow. This will slightly weaken the muscle that brings the brow down, helping to make their heights even. This must be performed every 2-3 months to maintain this appearance, but it takes only 1 minute or less to do. In the long run, you may opt for a surgery called an asymmetric brow lift, where your lower brow is lifted a bit higher than your other brow. This can be done in several different ways. I wouldn't recommend this at this time - if I were you I would try the botox. Should work like a charm! Hope this helps! Best, Dr. Cabin
