when this scar will heal? Should I need special treatment ? Please help
Answer: I had otoplasty 14 days ago. This scar is normal? Your scar looks great for two weeks. It would be much too early to consider any sort of scar treatment. It appears as though this will heal nicely, however it is never a bad idea to meet with your surgeon to discuss scar management techniques such as massage to improve the final appearance.

Answer: I had otoplasty 14 days ago. This scar is normal? As you were operated on with one of the traditional methods, it is usual that a long incision is made on the back of the ear which will later develop into a scar. With normal wound healing, such a scar usually heals so that it is hardly visible and will probably not be disturbing then. It is only with the minimally invasive stitch method, by which incisions are no longer made, that such scars no longer occur.

Answer: Otoplasty Hi, As Dr Shaw has said it does appear there is either scabbing r sutures still in place. In relation to the scar, you are 14 days post op so you need to expect the scar to still be noticeable. This will fade with time. You must be patient. Please speak with your surgeon about removing the remainder of the sutures.Good Luck
