Do you think this is a strong enough Fraxel to get rid of these wrinkles? I hope this picture loaded.
Answer: Will Fraxel 1500 Get Rid of My Wrinkles at 61? Fraxel Re:Pair Is Best for Significant Wrinkling I’d recommend Fraxel Re:Pair to help improve your wrinkles and the texture of your skin. However, Fraxel alone won’t be able to “get rid” of all of your wrinkles. It will resurface your skin, improve the fine wrinkles and stimulate the production of new collagen to help your skin look and feel thicker, healthier, and younger. However, you have significant creasing of your nasolabial folds and marionette lines and a great deal of volume loss in the upper and mid face. Dermal fillers such as Juvederm could improve the NLFs and marionettes. Voluma in the midface can help with restoring volume. There are many, many options available to you to help you look and feel younger without needing to undergo surgery, but you need to be realistic about what can be achieved. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who will take the time to discuss your options and help you come up with a plan to rejuvenate your skin, minimize your wrinkles, and help you look healthy and younger in the years to come.

Answer: Laser Resurfacing, Skin tightening, Melasma with--Fraxel, Co2, lasers, microneedling/prp, sculptra, ultherapy, rf treatments Fraxel and/or Co2 are best for resurfacing, but erbium is a good alternative. I always combine lasers with microneedling/prp for more robust outcomes. For skin tightening, I recommend a combination of ultherapy with RF treatments and sculptra for skin tightening along with fillers for the folds themselves and to provide anatomical support. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Fraxel 1550 If you are serious about "getting rid" of the wrinkles there is more to be done than just a laser resurfacing. You have loss of volume in you cheeks and lip especially, skin laxity, and very deep etched in line around your lip. I would recommend seeing a plastic surgeon to discuss surgical options if you are open to it. If not at minimum I would recommend a CO2 laser to improve and tighten your skin and fillers to add volume in cheeks an soften any remaining line around the mouth. Good luck with your transformation.

Answer: Fraxel 1550 for wrinkles Thanks for posting your question. Judging by your photo I would not make the Fraxel 1550 my first line recommendation. This is a non-ablative laser. While it may help a little without much downtime this laser can not deliver results which will smooth out the wrinkles you have on the photo. Fraxel makes another type of laser - Fraxel Re:pair which is much more aggressive. While the recovery is longer it is what you need. Best of luck, Dr. M

Answer: 61-year-old female, help my wrinkles Hello,Thank you for sharing your concerns and the photo. To improve your look: you seem having good prominent cheek bones. I would focus on non-surgical approach and start with fillers around the lips, upper lips, and lower face. This would give you immediate results and some improvement. If we add PRP ( PLatelet Rich Plasma ) combined with filler, it would give even better results and gradually expect to see improvement in collagen content of skin.Improving vertical lines around lips help quite a bit. Next step, using multi-modality to improve the look: Fraxel is an option, It has to be done 3-4 times. another one: Fat transfer (grafting) with proper technique which must offer +80% stable results. Hope the Best.Ray Bayati, MDNorthern California
