Am I too old for a revision rhinoplasty? 69 y/o hoping to correct irregularities and breathing issues (photos)

We have many patients who are over 50 that request rhinoplasty or revision rhinoplasty surgery, and we may require somebody to get a letter of medical clearance from their primary care doctor or another medical specialist that knows them well. If you cannot breathe through your nose, then revision rhinoplasty surgery may indeed be indicated. If you are mostly bothered by the indentation on your bridge and other stigmata of previous surgery, depending on your examination, a permanent non-surgical nose job may also be considered. Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you are a good candidate for a revision rhinoplasty which can be designed to improve both aesthetic and functional issues. As long as you are in good health and you can obtain medical clearance from your primary doctor then that your age would not be a contraindication for surgery. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

As long as you're in excellent health, there should not be any issues undergoing a cosmetic revision rhinoplasty and a septoplasty for breathing purposes. Choose your second surgeon wisely based on extensive experience
