I had a tumours removed 15 years ago and I always felt some discomfort with having almost no labia majora on my left side. It been hard to manage during my period and sexual encounters. I had labia puffing done but the fat graft didn’t changed much to my situation. I don’t know if there would be a better option to give me some comfort and the cushion feel like of a labia majora.

I suggest another session of fat injections to your labia majora. Usually, a good portion of the fat does not survive so repeat sessions are necessary. Also, the technique used by the surgeon is important to achieve fat survival.

Thanks for your question and the photos your provided. If you are looking for a fuller labia majora, fat transfer would be a great option.  The key is that not all the fat transfer will survive after the first procedure. You will need multiple fat transfer procedures to get your desire result.  Make sure you consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.

Thank you for posting your picture.  I’m sorry you are going through this.  The tumor must have been a decent size as it can be seen in the pictures, the scarring extends into the groin area where the blood supplies and lymphatic drainage lies.  With the removal of the tumor, some skin may have been removed as well.  As others have mentioned, repeat fat transfers may eventually take and give you some cushion.  But understand, because of the scar, it will be difficult for the transferred fat to “stay put” in that pocket.   You need an in person examination to determine if scar revision is a possibility first prior to any fat transfer.   Good luck.

When fat is injected into a site of previous surgery, it might take several sessions to achieve maximum fullness. Even then, it might not look identical to the opposite side. Certainly, if the volume is restored, the cushion effect will be improved.
