Is muscle excision necessary during Asian double eyelid surgery? What is the advantage/disadvantage of the muscle excision? Can you still have defined long lasting results with just skin excision?

Muscle excision is called ptosis correction and it is not always necessary.If you tend to open your eyes using forhead or if your pupils aren't showing eneough,then we can think about ptosis correction.
