I had double eyelid surgery in January 2022 and it look over a year for the full swelling to resolve. The surgery made the preexisting ptosis on my left eye very pronounced and heavy feeling so I had unilateral ptosis surgery in July 2023. I have always felt the inn we crease height and depth looked unnatural and changed my Asian eye shape from almond to more round and I regret having this procedure as my lids now feel like they are physically being ‘pulled up.’ Do you recommend revision?

If I had to guess, your surgery was less than 3 months ago. Many people have darkening of the upper eyelid scar, and this will eventually turn into a white line. Additionally, when your eyes are open, no one can see these incisions. I hope this is helpful! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
