My Surgeon laid out 4 sets of sizers for me to try. 350, 375, 400, 425 Since I chose 425, he will be using 475 for the actual surgery. At first I thought they may be too big, now I'm wondering if they are too small. I am 5,2" 140 lbs and have been wearing extremely padded bras forever. ("Up two cups" ones from Victoria's Secret) I'm worried I won't notice a difference from my bra to the implants. Please help, should I go up to 500?
Answer: Thanks for your question and photos. Ask yourself what concerns you more, being too big or not big enough. For your frame and dimensions, in my practice those implants would be considered very large, and there is little difference between 475 and 500. The determinant of which implant is best for you should be primarily dependent on breast width, followed by volume and projection, based on sizers that you may have tried, and photos of women’s breasts you find attractive and hope to emulate. As a rule, the larger the implant, the less natural or proportionate it will appear, and the more artificial. If none of those are of great concern to you, please keep in mind that the larger the implant the greater the risk that they will pose a problem if you are very physically active (sports) including pain and discomfort, and the greater the chance you will need revision surgery sooner rather than later. If and when you have doubts or concerns, please discuss them with your plastic surgeon, or consider a second opinion. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Size Your will definitely notice the size and feel the weight with 475 cc implants. Please discuss any concerns you have with your surgeon. If need, go back and try on the sizes again.

Answer: Choosing the right size breast implants for you After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of former patients with similar measurements and with different size implants. My patients tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what is right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author. Answer: Size Selection Good evening! In all honesty there is very little difference between 475 and 500cc. However, the general rule of thumb is if you are debating between two sizes, go with the larger size, it is rarely ever a bad decision!

Answer: Size Thank you for the question and size is an individual decision based on measurements and putting implants in a bra till you see the volume on your chest that you like. That said most patients coming back for surgery wish they had gone bigger! Dr Corbin
