Will I always have the weird round shape at the upper part of the breast? (Photos)

Thank you for the question.  Thank you for the photo.  You are early in your post operative course. The implants will typically rise up after surgery.  They typically start to fall at one month.  They can take 6 to 12 months to get to their appropriate position and volume.  This is the "drop and fluff" phenomenon that folks are talking about.  Please follow your Plastic Surgeon's instructions.  Each Board Certified Plastic Surgeon may have their own protocol, and each patient is different.  Let them know your thoughts.

Hello,Your implants were too big for your anatomy (not conducive for a 'natural' look, whatever that might be), and they are well above your incisions. This is not an ideal situation. Although textured implants don't settle as much, in 50% of my patients they do tend to glide again, allowing more settling. At this point, you'll need to sit tight and be patient, at least 6 months. Best of luck.

The high-riding implants demonstrated by your photos are completely consistent with the early, postoperative course following a breast augmentation surgery. This is frequent in patients, such as yourself, who have tight ski with larger implants.  It will take anywhere from 3 to 4 months for the skin to expand which will allow your implant to fall in the proper position.  In addition, there is a normal course of muscle swelling, which is prominent in the upper pole of tge breast where the muscle is located. Not to worry, it's all normal.  Just be patient.
