Which implants for size C? (photos)

Question

HELLO :) I decided to do breasts surgery. Im size A , small frame, bony chest due to my profession- a fitness Trainer. I Would like to be Size C but my doctor is sugesting 275 ml- Im Afraid i will end up with not impresive B- can I go for 300 ml or even bigger ? Which size shall I choose to have C size?

Hi. It is tough to say without examining you but my best guess would be that you should have between 275-325 cc for a good result and a rough C cup. You are in the right ballpark for volume. Cheers Damien

Thanks for your question.  The truth is that it is very difficult to tell the difference between a 25 cc difference either more or less.  A thorough exam of your skin and breast measurements will help to dictate the type and size of implants that will safely fit in your breasts.  It is also difficult to aim for a specific cup size since bra sizes vary greatly between manufacturers.  I usually recommend going for a particular look instead of an exact size.  Best of luck!

Thank you for the question. Based on your photograph, I think that you are starting at a good place and should have a very nice outcome with breast augmentation surgery. There is no accurate/reliable/predictable correlation between size/profile breast implant utilized and cup size achieved.   Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical. 
Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:
1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.
2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. 
In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of know words such as “natural” or "C cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful.
Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice.
3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers.

Thanks for posting your question. I am happy to try and help you.

There is really no way to accurately predict what size you would like without an
examination. During your examination and consultation, you should try on some
sample sizes and see what you are comfortable with. This is an accurate
approximation of what you would get. If in doubt, go up one size from the one
you like. Then the PS can help explain with the size and current condition of
your breasts the effects of those sized implants will have on you.

If you have accomplished this step, then trust your plastic surgeons advice as
to what would be the best size for you. They have the experience. If you are
uncomfortable, go on another consultation.

Hi, there.In-person examination will be needed to give you a more accurate recommendation regarding the implant size.Depending on one's body (height, weight, chest width, chest length, existing breast tissue), 300cc may give B cup or 300cc can give C cup.  Also, please remember that cup size varies depending on the brand and styles of bras.There are many variables in recommending implant size/type. I base my implant recommendation on patients' body (chest height, chest width, existing breast tissue) as well as their desired look. Please review before and after photos and see what kind of look that you want. Share your wish photos with your plastic surgeon so that he/she can understand your goal.Implants come in different types (silicone, saline), shape (round, anatomic), and profiles and volume. If your goal is to look natural, moderate plus profile will give you a more natural appearance compared to high profile implants. High or ultra-high profile will give you a fuller look.More meaningful recommendation can be made based on direct examination and in-person consultation.
